The AIA Great European Carnival Wins Two Gold Marketing Awards at Marketing Excellence Awards in Hong Kong
Hong Kong (19th November 2015): The AIA Great European Carnival has received top awards from the industry’s prestigious Marketing Magazine at its Marketing Excellence Awards ceremony, with Gold in Excellence in Event Marketing, and Gold in Excellence in Best Partnership. The gold awards follow the Magazine’s accolades for the Carnival presented earlier this year which included the Best Event – Consumer, and the Best Sponsorship Activation.
“We were honoured to compete with some of the crème de la crème marketers of the industry and to receive these awards by Marketing Magazine which has recognised our originality and creativity with the European carnival concept which we brought to Hong Kong,” said Michael Denmark, CEO of TGEC.

ABOUT THE AIA GREAT EUROPEAN CARNIVAL
The Great European Carnival Ltd is the producer of the annual Hong Kong event called The AIA Great European Carnival. The Great European Carnival takes place between December and February each year, on the Central Harbourfront Event Space. The event features amusement rides, carnival skill games, an outdoor ice rink, seasonal markets and performances on a community stage. The Carnival will run at the Central Harbourfront Event Space December 17 to February 21.
The Carnival welcomed more than 830,000 Hong Kong and international guests in its inaugural staging and has out-distanced internationally renowned brands to win Marketing Magazine’s Best Event Consumer, Best Sponsorship Activation, Gold in Excellence in Event Marketing and Gold in Excellence in Best Partnership Awards in 2015.
